Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth took time away from the football field Wednesday, for a trip to the Carnegie Clubhouse.
He spent time with the Boys and Girls Club of Western PA, and made a donation. He presented a check to the organization for $5,000.
For Pat, it was a fun chance to interact with the local kids. He says it’s an opportunity he doesn’t take for granted.
“I was kind of involved in it back at home,” he said. “Just being a part of that now, it’s awesome.”
The former Penn State Nittany Lion is starting his third season in the black and gold.
