Steelers players read letters of encouragement from fans at Boys & Girls Clubs
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette-
The Steelers got some words of encouragement Friday from their next generation of fans.
Kids from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania wrote letters to T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward and Calvin Austin III, among others, wishing them luck against the Houston Texans on Monday night at Acrisure Stadium.
“You heard it here first, they’re winning it for US,” the organization said on X, reposting video from the Steelers of Austin and Co. reading their letters.
The AFC wild-card game has been at the forefront of the kids’ minds. Earlier, the Boys & Girls Clubs posted video of them waving Terrible Towels with the hashtag #steelersunite.
