Scholarships for Families in Need:

At BGCWPA, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun—regardless of financial circumstances.

Our scholarships are here to support families who do not qualify for Child Care Works Government subsidies but still need assistance, ensuring youth have access to our programs and experiences.

How to Apply:

For those who do not qualify for Child Care Works (CCW) funding, please complete the application form linked below.

Applications for before school, after school, or preschool scholarships must include a CCW denial letter.

Scholarships are awarded on a needs basis, closely aligned with federal income guidelines. To help us understand your need, please provide proof of income—such as a pay stub, W-2, tax return, EBT eligibility, or Section 8 waiver. You can attach a photo of your documents directly to the application form or email them to scholarships@bgcwpa.org.

Applications are reviewed in the order they are received once proof of income is submitted. All families will be notified about their scholarship status. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, as funding allows.

Scholarship Expectations:

BGCWPA scholarships are intended to help youth fully participate and benefit from our programs. Scholarship awardees are expected to have good attendance in those programs as part of the requirements of accepting the scholarship. If a family does not attend programming for two full weeks (10 consecutive days), the scholarship will be redistributed to another family in need.
